What were your thoughts on "Spider-Man: Homecoming"?

I'm watching it for the first time tonight and currently about an hour into it. I must confess that I'm not really finding it very entertaining.

Tom Holland is very compelling in the role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, but unfortunately the story just isn't very interesting and as much as I like Michael Keaton, he is not a great villain in this film. The whole thing kindof comes across to me as more of a parody of a Spider-Man movie than an actual Spider-Man movie. But even if that was what the filmmakers were going for, I'm honestly really disappointed with just how unfunny the script is.

You know your script is low on comedic fuel when Stan Lee's signature 10-second cameo he gets in every Marvel Comics movie is funnier than 80% of the rest of the jokes.

It's a marvel movie. What do you expect? It's all hype and delivers emptiness. thor is going to be like that black panther, infinity wars and so forth. And the audience is going to eat it up like theu think it is the best thing since sliced bread. I swear disney has some mystical powers over the general public. You were probably better off watching porn to be entertained.
