What's the worst experience you've had at the movies?

Went to go see Lego Ninjago Movie this evening and it was a nightmare with the little girl next to me talking and running around all through the film and her mother not only not doing anything about it but encouraging her to do it. When I confronted her afterwards about it and told her off she had the gall to act like she was the victim in all of this. So annoying and such a terrible example to set to your kids.

In lieu of this, what bad movie experiences have you had with the terrible audiences?
When I went to watch age of extinction these dumb kids were talking loudly the entire time. What is even more annoying was that the usher was too much of a chicken shit to tell them to be quiet. The whole movie they were talking loudly. The movie was 2 hours and 45 minutes long. NEARLY 3 FUCKING HOURS OF THOSE INSOLENT LITTLE SHITS TALKING!!!!! 😣 It’s ironic because they have those messages to put your phone on silent and no texting during the movie. But it’s usually dumb kids who are the ones who ruin movie watching experiences, for everyone. But if you say anything to them someone somewhere will say that you’re being an asshole to them.

@MsAnnThropy See, this is why I want my cinema to be more like Alamo Drafthouse. Get your phone out/talk and your arse is hitting the pavement.

I went to see avatar the last air bender. Wait theres more. My gut was feeling grumbally all through out. Finally at at big fight scene at the end of the movie, I bolted for the can. I then had the worst diarrhea ever well simultaneously vomiting popcorn and sweedish berries all over the wall.

@Dolimyte Christ. And I thought sitting through The Last Airbender was bad enough.
This is why I don't go see cartoons at the theatre. What do you expect at a children's movie?
MuddyWelliesLover96 · 26-30, F
@Notmesam I hope that the parents aren't useless and have their kids not be a piece of crap. Plus it's unfair if I want to go see an animated film but can't because of stupid kids.
@MuddyWelliesLover96 Lol just choose a late showing. When you have a theatre full of kids, it's going to be distracting no matter how well behaved they are...
MuddyWelliesLover96 · 26-30, F
@Notmesam That's true and I usually give the late showing a go to solid results - Zootopia, Moana and Kubo and the Two Strings come to mind for recent ones. But this was a straight from work thing and I didn't want to hang around. Guess my impatience got the best of me. But still, it's rubbish parenting.

Went to see a double bill(miss those) and halfway through the first film, the projector broke. So was given a free ticket to return. Went back a week later, and it happened again!

People who eat loudly during the movie. The crunch and smack and slurp and crumple bags and wrappers. Hate 'em.
MuddyWelliesLover96 · 26-30, F
@goagainsttheflow It's not the eating I hate (I am a popcorn-aholic), more the opening of bags. That happened today too, only with another person.
Hmm never. That must mean I'm the one who annoys everyone else.. 😂😲 I like sneaking couple beers in, walk in, wobble out 2 hours later

Having to sit through the entire 'Smurf' movie.
I can make it worse for you
