Fun fact

"Laser Guns" especially beam lasers, would require an immense amount of power to generate a beam even for the shortest amount of time.

So...that being said...are handheld laser guns really that cool? A shot to the wrong place could blow you up...just saying.

But then emo kids like Kylo Ren show up and start using cracked Kyber Crystals, like assholes. If that thing cracked a tiny bit more he'd be fucked.

@Fangirlsarah1996 Yeah, only way lightsabers make sense is if they're actually plasma projections encapsulated by an electromagnetic envelope. Hence the repelling each other and not creating gigantic ablative explosions when they strike things. Lasers should just pass through each other and they ablate things, not just melt, so they'd be making explosions all the time.
