What is your all time favourite sci fi tv series?

@jackson55 Is that technically sci-fi ? Or paranormal ? I always wondered. But that would be my choice as well.

@bijouxbroussard Good question. I think it had alittle of both. Serling was out there. Netflix has episodes.

@jackson55 During the New Year’s Day marathon, I saw “An Occurrence At Owl Creek Bridge”. It was one I don’t remember having seen. Are you familiar with it ?

@bijouxbroussard It depended on the episodes -- TWILIGHT ZONE did sci-fi, mystery, horror, fantasy, and mixtures of various genres.

[@ I think I've seen every episode but I don't remember it for sure. I've watched all 221 episodes of Have gun will travel but couldn't give you the title of any one.

@jackson55 There was one episode that they only recently started airing again: “The Encounter”, with George Takei. The first time they showed it back in 1964, people protested because it was considered controversial then.

[@ I'll have to look for it. Those old tv programs were 25 minutes, 5 minutes of commercials. The reason I don't watch much tv now. Too many commercials.

@bijouxbroussard TWILIGHT ZONE was often controversial. They even made a recent "Top Ten TV Episodes that would Never Be Made Today" list.

It is weird going back amd looking at the older stuff.especially commercials! My goodness, theu were so corny, and YES !!! NO WAY you could say half that stuff today.!!!

@jackson55 I never saw the series but i did see the movie that was made that had i think 3 episodes within it. I really enjoyed that.

Some episodes were....alright, but some were just wonderful!!!



Each episode was written by someone different, so each was unique.
Amd some of the concepts were incredibly clever, or creepy.

@BoobooSnafu I was going to once, but when i looked it up there were three series's. One made in the 60's, another in the 80's then another more recent one. So i've been trying to find out which is best.

@SW-User Imo, the original was the best, if only for the imagination and vision of Rod Serling.
