So, you know we have a brand new Star Trek with Sir. Patrick Stewart reprising his roLe as captain Jean-Luc Picard.
I know that O'Brien will be there too, who else, I am not sure :)

I AM SO STOKED :D🖖🏼✨

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Wow! i had no idea about this. I have been watching the latest Star Trek series called "Discovery". Have you seen that? But they're really bringing back picard??? :D
@SW-User I kid you not hang on please...

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I'm glad they are going to "make it so" :)

You need to get on Twitter for the LIVE announcement on a COMICON!!! YEAHHHHHHHHH IT'S FOR REAL!!!!

"Executive Producer Alex Kurtzman and @SirPatStew surprised fans today at #STLV with news that he will be returning to the iconic role of Jean-Luc Picard for a new Star Trek series coming to @cbsallaccess.

Patrick Stewart To Reprise Role as Jean-Luc Picard"
@SW-User Yes. I diligenty gave it an honest shot.
It was just too FKD up for me.

I can't overlook and get around the entire Anti Gene Roddenberry tenet;
on which the premise of THIS ST is essentially based.

NOT FOR ME.
OH. YEAH. Same reason I hated SG UNIVERSE. lol...
Allegiances can NOT be so wishy washy:
I NEED my heroes to be SOLID. Unquestionable unwavering MORAL AND ETHICAL FIBER = Jean-Luc Picard 🌈

ST DISCOVERY AND SG UNIVERSE LACK THIS KEY ELEMENT.
@SW-User
@Lunadelobos I'm glad they are going to "make it so" :)
[c=#008099]And so help them God/dess: THEY BETTER MAKE IT RIGHT THIS TIME ! [/c]

@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON This is what i liked about both series, that they had a darker more realistic element about them... that no character was squeaky clean. Not to say that i didn't totally love the other series's because they had this element. I particularly loved Stargate Atlantis because all the main characters felt like family. But the dark aspect of Stargate Universe and ST Discovery really appeal to me due to it's reality... as stressful as it can be sometimes.
SW-User
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON Yes they will make it so because Picard will be in it. I always imagined him doing adverts for sewing machines... :D

@SW-User I get that. I appreciate the logic.

Hey I watched John Wick, 300, Django Unchained, ETC.
I CAN watch gore and blood BUT
it has to be tempered with GOODNESS and NOBLE hearts/spirits.

And because I am not only an ESP
~Extra sensitive person: We make up roughly 20% of the population. Scientifically proven and books are out there for any skeptics.
~I am also an empath: I CAN'T subject myself to such graphic violence and MIND FKERY, on a consistent basis.
Why I had to quit Criminal Minds, and Supernatural
(but this show became TOO REDUNDANT and BBBoringggggggggggg AF ;) )
@SW-User He can sell anything because he has INTEGRITY.
SW-User
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON I can understand that too.
It's strange with me. I'm very sensitive to many things, yet i can watch something like Django or the 300 yet i can't watch something psychologically tramatising like someone being held prisoner or American Horror Story etc.

I think the thing i could relate to with Stargate Universe is that none of the characters could truly be trusted... not like in Atlantis where all the main characters could be trusted. But the lack of trust just seemed too mimic my real life experiences so i guess i could see how all their characters were unfolding. Not that i liked it, but i think i just found them all relateable and realistic. Not that this was good. It would be my dream to live in a Stargate Atlantis world with people that i could truly trust.

@SW-User My TV family is Star Trek The Next Generation.
SW-User
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON If only families in real life could be half as good.
