What is your all time favourite sci fi tv series?

@bijouxbroussard I had forgotten about Space 1999, I think it was probably really good and cutting edge for the time it came out. I did see it though, liked the concept. Dr Who is awesome, who's your favourite Dr?

@bijouxbroussard Cool! I only started watching it from the fourth doctor so I've wondered if I should go back and watch the really early ones.

@SW-User I just bought the box set of the very first Dr, it's great..I got it on ebay

@metaldog Ooh i wanted to know whether the early ones were good.. thanks for the feed back. One thing I loved about the early episodes was the really low budget sets that still managed to create a great atmosphere.

@SW-User I'm really enjoying them, it's great to see the first Dalek! ☺

@metaldog When I was a kid, those things really scared me, but it was the theme music back then done with the early synthesisers that really was scary. My sister and i would rush to mute the volume whenever it came on 😮

@SW-User I'm sure most kids were freaked out by that music and those Dalek voices...someone knew what they were doing lol

@metaldog Yeah you're right, actually even now the sound of Davros makes me feel like i need more fibre in my diet.. I could never understand why anyone ever left the Tardis, it always seemed really safe when I was a kid :)

@SW-User LOL that's hilarious! Yeah they certainly were nightmarish characters, and that music to top it all off...god no wonder we're all nuts lol

@metaldog Hehe you're right, but it was/is a clever show, such a great concept. No wonder it's been going for so many years, and now we're about to have the first female doctor, makes sense to me, I think she'll do a great job.

@SW-User absolutely a clever concept..I haven't really watched the more recent ones though, I should check them out. It is pretty incredible that they're still going!!

@metaldog I really liked the series with David Tenant as the doctor. I just watched one of the early episodes on youtube, wow it was so well done, I'm impressed!

@SW-User haa I was just looking at Colin Baker!! I really want to go and watch them all now...maybe I'll have to buy all those series

@metaldog Colin baker was the first dr I ever saw. He's great!
