For me it would be Gary Oldman. Probably for the same reason !
He plays nutters and psycho's very well, if you see his earlier work.
But his portrayal of Mason Verger in the movie 'Hannibal' is really good !
Quite something for any actor to be made completely unrecognizable and still do a brilliant job.
By the same token, Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder (i think?)
