Can the US actually win the Iran war without using a nuke or a massive ground invasion?

Well, I'm pretty sure we will not be using nukes in Iran. A ground war would probably bog us down for a long time. Maybe years. Iran is a Fundamentalist Islamic State. We will not conventionally bomb them into surrendering. A diplomatic solution is the only way this ends anytime soon. Just my opinion.
