Does Palestinians' right to resist Israeli occupation encompass a right by Hamas' to commit genocide?

Under Kuper's legal theory (see above post), wouldn't the UN's inaction, its failure to condemn the Hamas' October 7 massacre in Israel, reaffirm a right to commit genocide?

Note also that If Israel's invasion of Gaza constitutes genocide, then it's own claim to a legal right to self-defense also amounts to a legal claim to a right to commit genocide.
A lot of double-speak here. Seriously though, it is probably not a great idea to pursue a path where any group can commit genocide
@Ozymandiaz It's happening in the Gaza war.
@flipper1966 Calling it a war is a bit of a stretch if you ask me. Who are the victims of the genocide?

The Holocaust was genocide.

Killing a few thousand people, while it is a horrible thing, does not constitute genocide.

Why do you think Israel funded Hamas for so many years?
@CountScrofula I don't know. Tell me.
Every new development I hear about or read about is just awful. Attacking a hospital because of tunnels the Israeli government put there, shooting hostages, denying civilians clean water, and worse.
@LordShadowfire I find it interesting that both Hamas and Israel present their own legal defense to committing genocide. That's scary.
@flipper1966 It is. And they mostly justify their actions because of what the other side is doing. I don't think this is anything new, but thanks to the 24-hour news cycle, the mask is off, as they say. We get to see it all. And it's ugly. Beyond ugly.

@LordShadowfire I checked to see if this is spam. It's not. She apparently just wrote this whole thing out. Talk about scary.
@flipper1966 Oh, yeah. This is a real person. What we're looking at here is the end result of reading conspiracy sites 24/7.
