The Moors rules parts of Spain for 800 years, with their last expelled from Spain in 1492.
They came to Spain through Morocco, but they're not strictly people of the Maghreb. They could have included people from the entire Muslim Levant and Maghreb.
Surely, over a period of 800 years, a lot of back and forth boinking took place.
