Netanyahu On Verge Of Making A Comeback

With 85% of the votes counted, the political alliance led by Netanyahu, has a slight edge over the center-left coalition. This is Israel's 5th election since 2019.

To win majority of the 120 Knesset members, Netanyahu forged the most extremist religious/right wing alliance in Israel's history.

His win will not stop his upcoming trial on corruption charges, but even if he's convicted, he can remain in office, pending an appeal, a process that could take 3-5 years. On the agenda for the would be Netanyahu government (assuming they follow their campaign promises): weakening the judiciary to allow more religious control, and accelerating the program to replace Palestinians with Orthodox Jews, in the West Bank.

His buddy Trump is taking notes.

Hard to imagine Israel used to be "the good guys."

@Fukfacewillie North American Orthodox immigrants are turning it into another theocracy. They're also driving high rates of immigration to the US, mostly from the Israeli left, or the people with the brains that made Israel what it is today.

It's not like we're not looking down the MAGA barrel, and I mean that figuratively and literally.
