When therapists don't "get" narcissistic relationships [I Want To Spread Narcissism Awareness]

I've previously watched Many videos about this topic. This video was interesting as it talks about therapists not "getting" the narc relationship. In college, we didn't have a course about solely personality disorders. That may depend on which mental health field one is majoring in. Not sure. I remember one professor saying people with personality disorders are "evil." (wow lol). Anyhow, I think it would be difficult for a therapist to recognize right off that the client/patient is in a narc relationship. So, that might be a contributing factor in some therapists taking the approaches that they do/might.
@WICKEDPeople can't deal with personality disorders becaue they ARE our society. Of course the therapists have these symptoms too. They are no more prone to choose their profession well as anyone else. And once in the consulting room you find out. And if they are hurting you these days, there aren't a lot of other therapists...who won't hurt u too.

@WICKED @WICKED No, there is not much one can do about it,if a therapist is not up to standard. The answer is to look for another therapist.

@berangere There is a thing about therapists and clients not meshing with each other too well. There is Nothing wrong with that!
Find another therapist.
It may take time to do so, but worth it
