I get the whole narcissistic thing
I truly do

But on the flip side
But i do believe it’s overused

It’s a great way of labelling / disparaging others especially in failed relationships

@yeronlyman Yes you are right,sadly things are overused and abused,and it does no good for the newly raising awareness we have of narcissists in our society and the harm they inflict on others,often narcissists themselves will call other people narcissists,to detract attention from their own toxic behaviour.As for being detached it is good to be detached from toxic people but worldly possessions are a different thing,we need our homes to keep is safe and dry,we need other things to help us survive safely in an increasingly uncaring world,we need some attachment to those things that give us that protection.

@yeronlyman Since the orange demon came on the scene....that word has been SO overused! Spmeone has an issue with another person and out pops the word...so tedious

@Fernie true

I do believe Trump fits the description
And many others

@yeronlyman Yes, but sadly many leaders ancient and modern also fit the bill, a great deal of narcissism is required to get to the top and stay there and some are more covert than others but they use the same stratagems to get what they want and where they want to be.

@berangere this I understand
