I had an camper who taught me sign laungage

He had autsim , he could hear really well but only spoke an few words. He signed mostly. Nobody told me this and there were nothing on his file about this. I had to learn how to commuincate with him. I cried an few times because I really wanted him to have the best experience at camp and it were hard for me to learn how to commuincate with him. I did not know sign lanuage until he taught me. I learnt by guessing until I got it right. He would sign yes every time I got it right. And googling how to sign that the coffee machine were broken and the word later. It were really challenging as I had two campers that session. One completely verbal and one not completely verbal.
