I saw a flyer asking for volunteers for United Way
preparing food bags and preparing donated clothes for needy people. Two weeks later I got fired for no real reason.Someone else was called up right in front of me and "she" was asked to come in and do my job instead of me. But I didn't know it was "instead of me" The MANAGER the day before had said we would work together. Next day her underling called me (undoubtedly at the managers request) to FIRE me. Someone better had been found. But this wasn't General Motors.
Some bunch of disgusting do-gooders. They wanted to remind me that "God" will always provide for HIS followers.
So I guess I wasn't "godly" enough. Right they were. I'm a filthy Jew who is revolted by violent hypocrisy coming from ANY "religion". or any self-appointed "power" .
I live in one of those phony religious OCD states. This is Oklahoma the land of concentrated despised Indians and even more despised OUTSIDERS. They don't believe in people power here. They got "god" instead.
NAUSEATING. I am returning all the food they offered poor charity-worthy ME. Right on their morally filthy doorstep. Hoping the bag's bottom will break, its so heavy...in more ways than one.
U see, I was hungry too so I wanted to feed other hungry people, cause I knew how it felt. Then I decided to trust them by signing up for some food myself. I am in a LOT of financial trouble.
But the United Way people think its too hard to relate to someone like me...apparently Holy-Shmolies don't need to relate to anything...but their own smug PHONINESS!!!!!.
A new low in my experience. United Way sponsors the YMCA/YWCA and the Girl/Boy Scouts as well. Is there as much abuse in THOSE outfits too?
And if it wasn't about my being a religious apostate/heritic/filthy JEW...it was about HOW DARE THE UNITED WAY ACT LIKE GENERAL MOTORS when it comes to UNWANTED VOLUNTEERS.
Where there is no GOLDEN RULE there's no LIFE.
That's MY religion.
I bet not one person will respond in a way that might be healing for me... you guys can prove me wrong and I need someone to try... but I no longer rely on the natural compassion of people. Its pretty much here like that place.
Not to mention that no separation of CHURCH and STATE violates much rule of LAW here and everywhere.
