A couple other possibile reasons for my brain issues

I have had focal aware seizures all my life, and in December, I got COVID again. I have had 3 different types of COVID since this all began. It turns out that COVID can cause new-onset seizure activity or worsen existing seizure activity...No, I am not vaccinated. I have autoimmune disorders that make vaccinations more dangerous for me.

In October last year, I was in a car accident, and I got a concussion. Seizure activity can get worse after a concussion, too.

I won't be able to know for sure until I am 65 years old and get insurance, but it is a little hopeful to think this could be caused by something else besides dementia. 🤷‍♀

I guess I may have jumped to a conclusion, thinking it was dementia (I may not have too), because I am older. Still, I am only going to be 60 years old this month, and my grandfatehr that got dementia was in his 70's when he got it.🤷‍♀

In any event, many of the things I am doing to possibly slow down dementia will also help with seizure activity, and since I would probably develop dementia anyway, starting now with the steps I am taking to help with that is a good idea, I think.🤔

Just some random thoughts I had on this..

I thought my mother in her 60s was getting dementia but now i think it was just her sneakily being high on something. It was scary and i still dont want her to drive her car when she's tired.

@MartinTheFirst Either thing sounds scary to me. I understand you being worried about her driving. I am worried about needing to drive too. I have to pick up my son from work. He has his learner's permit, but he still needs a licensed driver with him. The last couple of nights of picking him up from work were rough, but tonight my mind is better. Still, I will be grateful when he gets his licsence and I can stop driving. I hope things get better for you and your mom.🤗

@NamesBatty youre worried but you still do it, mothers are both the most reckless and the best 😂
