I Have Epilepsy

Alright, my friends, surgery is scheduled. Spoke with Stanford today. Pre-op will be on January 31st, on which I'll have four different appointments, including an MRI. I will also meet with the surgeon, the anesthesiologist, and someone else, I don't remember.

Then the actual surgery is scheduled for Friday, February 8th. This is where I turn right and take that next road. I'm ready.

@SW-User Yes, brain surgery. He'll be implanting a chip against my brain that will send messages to the brain when it senses a seizure coming on. Exciting stuff! Been going through a lot of tests since October 2017.

@silentwriter180 Yes its often used in these cases. The brain is a mysterious and awesome organ.

I do hope it works for me, as many medications I've taken over the last 40 years haven't. Fingers crossed. I'm finally seeing a light at the end of a very long tunnel!
