I Have Epilepsy

So, here I am at Stanford Hospital with 24 electrodes pasted to my head. There is a monitor on me at all times and a button to push at anytime I feel a seizure coming on. Last night they took me off one of my meds in hopes to induce the seizures. I hate having them, but it’s the only possibility of discovering just what’s going on. Fingers crossed.

Mom is coming back to spend the day here and challenge me to some scrabble games. It’s been a long time since we’ve had that chance.

Yep, the first day at anything is always a doozie.
Some nervous anticipation at this point, definitely. The waiting is the hardest part - difficult, but necessary.
But it sounds like they've got you under close watch.
