If you read how schizoids describe themselves on Quora or Reddit, they often paint themselves like hardcore misantropes and borderline psychopats.

@CrazyMusicLover are they REALLY schizoids tho? 🤔

@Fishy Who knows. They usually claim to be diagnosed. 😅 Also schizoids on Youtube: So this is my partner I've been with for 5 years now. Description: schizoids are not interested in romantic or sexual relationships. 😂 But...every single one of them has a partner.

Similar traits but with at least one clearly defined difference.
Those with autism often crave interpersonal relationships they just have difficulty expressing how they feel and coping with those feelings.
Clinically defined schizoid people have no interest in forming relationships of any kind.
They see everyone as either 'invisible' (they can't acknowledge they exist) or as a 'threat'.

@Picklebobble2 also from what I'm lead to believe, another difference between the 2 is that schizoids can read facial expressions and social cues, they just decide to ignore them because they aren't interested in interaction,
Also avpd, very similar to asd, but they can read expressions, social cues etc, they are just timid because the world seems hostile.
Unlike asd, both schizoid and avpd are usually caused by truama
