Anybody still live with their parents/caregivers?

Rent is very high and it sucks. I heard rent is like $900-$1900 a month. I don’t make much money to pay rent unless I have a roommate but there is other things like groceries, electric bills, water, gas, internet and all that shit. I only make $15.00 an hour and work 8 in a half hours a day. I’m autistic but very high functioning and verbal. I’m 28 still living with my dad but help him with bills and all that.

I understand your need to be independent but be thankful you've got a good parent and what little you have.
Many only pray they have what you have.

Things are tough all over, your not the only one facing these problems Autistic or not.

@ElizabethBabe1994 Hi ms. Lizzy,
Being an old-timer we use to always say, "now days the younger generation's dont even understand what hard is.".

Now, with all the problems the world and U.S. are facing (pandemic, jobs, cost of living, etc.,.), I can honestly say, "this generation has it tougher than we've ever had !".

Though this probably won't give you peace, I can only pray it brings you comfort knowing we're all struggling. (Prayer done).

I started my independent living when I moved out at the age of 26.
Like more or less than half of people are.
