Please be honest and don’t sugarcoat it. Is it true that nobody wants to date a person with Autism/Asperger’s Syndrome? [I Live With Autism]

Last month I posted a post asking autistic people if they’ve been dumped because they have autism/Asperger’s Syndrome?

One person answered this,
“I’m going to be very blunt and you’re not going to like it, but I don’t sugarcoat things. Most people don’t wanna date someone with autism. They don’t. You’re better off without that guy. Guys don’t wanna dare an autistic woman. They want someone that’s normal. It isn’t your fault you have it but remember YOU asked. Maybe you’re just better off dating a guy with a disability. Date an autistic guy.”

I hope someone can just look past out disability. I’ve been dumped three times because of it. I mean they asked me about something they don’t know about me and I was honest. I was hesitant to tell them but it was better if I told the truth.

No, it's not true, but if somebody doesn't want you for that reason then you are better off without them.

@purplepen yeah that is true. I mean he did ask me what something about me he doesn’t know when I was honest with him and I told him the truth. But whatever it’s his loss.
