I Have a Child With Autism
One of my daughters, she is 13. Daughter K, she is more on the lower functioning end. She just had 3 grand mal seizures on Saturday. My husband went in the ambulance with her and stayed the night. I stayed at home with the kids, but we did visit her that evening. I helped her with her chest x-rays, ct scans, etc.
It was horrible. She was panting and her whole body shook. She had foam. I screamed at my husband, and he said to call 911. He's used to kids with autism having seizures from work.
the ambulance came. It was horrible. My daughter Z, was crying. My step-daughters were so worried.
And now .....she's refusing medicine and trying to find a way to get it into her.
Its horrible. Still traumatised and overwhelmed.
