Alzheimer’s disease

I used to do private home health care years back and my last patient was finally diagnosed with it. She also had advanced dementia that had been previously diagnosed. That was in February and we lost her in August. Needless to say, I dont do that kind of work anymore.

Yes. My father-in-law is grappling with it and has been for a few years. It’s been heart wrenching to see him slowly disappear.

My mother suffers from dementia and memory loss. It hasn’t been classified as Alzheimer’s at this point, and she still has good days, but it’s difficult to see the changes.
