What is wrong with them?!
MellyMel22 · F
@4meAndyou Oh wow. Still, you shouldn’t have to deal with that. No one should.

@4meAndyou It sounds like you are going to have to set some hard line boundaries with this person otherwise your going to be the one that needs medication.
4meAndyou · F
@Adrift Naw...I had one really, really tired day from no sleep...but I am okay today, and even ROCKING it. I have already been through a time with her where she wanted to be friends and go to the gym with me...didn't show up till hours later...then showed up at my door bombed. Ever since then, I keep her at a distance.

UPDATE: I spoke to someone who actually SAW the EMT's go into my neighbors apartment on the day she was transported to the hospital, and she said that she overheard one of the Emergency medical team say, "Do you have any knives or sharp objects?" when he opened the door to her apartment.

Sooo...this person believes, because of the "knives or sharp objects" question, my neighbor was suicidal.

It's no fair when they take your peace of mind! Hope you're caught up on your sleep 🤗

@faery She was JUST hospitalized and made sure I knew about it. Showed up at my door 4 nights ago..ALSO knocked way too loudly...and told me she didn't have her glasses and could I read her medication bottles for her. ENORMOUS doses of Clonapine and Trazadone.

THOSE dosages are only prescribed for SEVERE Major Manic Depressive disorder.

@4meAndyou Yikes 😳

Well, I hate to say it, but it sounds like she has the potential to be a problem again sometime.
4meAndyou · F
@faery I'm hoping the meds kick in soon.

Who is this person and what is her problem?
4meAndyou · F
@Adrift She is just my neighbor who lives right across the hall from me. She is severely mentally ill, apparently. She holds down a job and (mostly) behaves normally. She has episodes.

Once, she started a grease fire in her kitchen and smoked up the whole floor. She put out the grease fire with her bare hands. Firemen had to be called to clear the smoke out.

Another time she stunk up the whole floor...(fortunately for me my nose wasn't working very well at the time), but my neighbor next door told me that the stink was horrendous, and he actually knocked on her door and asked her if HE could take her trash out to the trash chute for her. She let him...and boy was HE sorry. The bag broke, and the stink water went all over the rug and all over his shoes...and he had to get help from maintenance to unstink the rug. After THAT incident, management got involved, and she was FORCED to clean up her apartment. A cleaning lady was called in.

@4meAndyou There was a lady like this that I knew of and I think she finally ended up becoming a ward of the state. It got to the point where she couldn't manage her life on her own.
I heard where they had to come in and debug her whole apartment and burn her clothes.

@Adrift Knock on wood. So far...no bugs. They have mice on the 3rd floor...but none up here YET!!!
