It feels good to make my boss admit when shes messed stuff up

People making mistakes doesn’t even bother me, but I’ve seen her lie to so many people and make them feel like they just didn’t know how to do something correctly when it was her fault. So I will word my messages to her in a way that doesn’t give her any way but to admit she’s messed something up, while I act confused. And I make sure to do it in group messages with other coworkers. I don’t like that I enjoy doing that. It feels gross

I’ve had insufferable bosses before. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. The problem is they never change because they don’t have to. They’re the boss, but it does make me wonder how they got to that position. Clearly it wasn’t social skills.

@Reject my boss bought the business, and that’s how she got there 😬

@itsok Oh yuck. That explains a lot. Generally people buy a business to make money, not because they have any passion for it. My last boss inherited it from her husband so basically married into it’s management.

@Reject I truly can’t tell you why she ended up buying it, because I’ve heard her tell people completely different stories, like her husband tricked her into it, or she thought it would be fun (???)

@itsok Well at least she has enough sense to not mention the money. One easy way spot a liar is someone who can’t keep their story straight. Do you at least have good coworkers?

@Reject yeah, everyone else is fine. It’s not difficult for me to be able to get along with almost everyone. I can even get along with my boss, I just really don’t like her.

@itsok Thank goodness. At long as you have good company. I remember talking mad smack about my boss with everyone else. 😂
