I prepare once for the entire week, and reheat.

Not for evert meal. Trying to plan meals is a pain in the ass. So I get some help. I subscribe to the New York Times Cooking section.
When I see something I like (and is appropriate for storage), I these recipes are for 4-6 people. I make it and then refrigerate/freeze. It takes a load off meal prep.
I also end up eating out, at least 50% of the time, especially over the weekends.
