well, It could cause the person in question to be a little tense, worried, and agitated in the presence of a symptomatic stimulus that normal folks around them are not experiencing. People who have the condition need help, understanding and an informed attitude towards them and their condition. They are human beings too, who have had a bad exprience, and they deserve kindness like anyone who is having a bad rap in life.
