This week has been one thing after the other for me. Monday my dogs got sprayed by a skunk and it took a few days of bathing to get the smell off (and I still smell it faintly). Thursday my daughter did not want to go to school and cried hysterically at drop off. Today my dog got out of the yard because there is work being done next street over so she hopped the fence to go investigate (right before I had to leave to drop off my daughter). Then I realized I had accidentally picked up granola bar from counter and threw it in daughters lunch box before we ran out the door, and it has nuts in it (which aren’t allowed at school). I’m just a walking disaster over here haha
I’m ready for the weekend, and hoping next week is full of much better vibes haha
Hey, I see you arguing with someone I have blocked - so I can't comment on that thread... but I saw that picture and just wondered if those "Chopped kits" were like salads???
They look delicious... I wish we had something ready made like that which also includes meats. I would have liked to have eaten more healthy meals when I used to eat out, but our salads don't offer an option with meats added, so I would have to add those separately - which is inconvenient when you're trying to prepare lunch in an office while not going too deep into why you need the other provisions that you're taking.
The service provider catered more to dyslexia than it did deaf people and people with my package of illnesses. Don't get me wrong, it was great to see they had aids for my fellow dyslexics - but it was awkward for me to have to walk out of class to stop myself from falling asleep from exhaustion that I could have eased a bit by adjusting what I ate.
@HootyTheNightOwl I have a pretty hard time with most aspects of food. Food preparation can be really daunting and overwhelming. I really like having options like this available.
@itsok I have to have ready made when I am out of the house because of the abuse I live with.
Soon to be ex would ration any food that I bought into the house - even if I bought it with the intention of eating it at work. A few months back, I had a fight with him because he ordered himself some digestive biscuits while shopping... I ordered myself some cookies because I had gone off digestives.
He still wanted half of my cookies and all of his digestives. When I got the message through to him, he tried to tell me that he misunderstood and thought that we were having half each as opposed to me having cookies in place of not having his digestives.
