I think it would depend on the degree of either.
But generally, I would think dementia would be worse, and much more frustrating and debilitating.

@Myocite That's understandable. I know it's hard. My grandmother had it. I couldn't even talk with her. And I know it was terribly frustrating to her, not being able to find words. I'm so sorry. ♥

@PhoenixPhail Thank you. I'm realizing how strong I have to be as I mourn my mom's death yet have to completely take over her disastrous life. We don't live in the same stare and I was unaware of her deterioration until recently.
