Professional break up

Idk why I feel that when I resign, it would be as if I will break up with my boss 🥔🤣 Thinking of what I want to say, I am almost tempted to say; it is not you, it is me.. I am immigrating, this is why I need to end this.. You deserve someone much better than me 🥔🥺

...and the situation is going to be much more awkward after today's meeting where he kept asking me to give inputs about next year in front of everyone, that I almost pulled him aside in the middle of the meeting to tell him .. I could only hope that he comes later with his memory erased like it is always the case with him.. 🥔🤷‍♀️
