People online have definitely forgotten that our society has a strong foundation in the social contract of decency and it shows.

Anonymity that people get online was never there and that is in the foundation of the new generation.

People born before the advent of smartphones knew how to use anonymity which was a gift for those who suffered. But those born with smartphones just abuse it.

@in10RjFox Then they are living in willful ignorance because one of the earliest things we are taught as children is to respect others. So...no, that's just an excuse. They do know better, otherwise, they wouldn't be doing it anonymously and accept the repercussions for their actions if they truly believed it was okay.
