Saturday afternoon musings.
I was in my therapist's office a couple months ago and shred with her why I thought I was doing some of the things I was doing. I told her that I felt the reasons for some of my actions were the result of lineliness, depression, bored, and the dopamine hit from one particular activoty I was engaged in. My therapist agreed with me and felt that my self-assessment was on target. Then I came across a 4 question therapy practice that was once used, but then discontinued. The questions were :
1. Who benefits from you thinking this way?
2. What would you be without this story?
3. When did you decide it was true?
4. What would you be if this changed.
