I gained ALOT of weight but the meds worked so my dr put me on metformin for metabolic changes & said it won't cause me to lose weight so I'll have to work to get the weight off but it will prevent me from continuing to gain.

@Tumbleweed that's what I'm afraid of or it ruining my athletic performance. I've almost got my mile run down to six minutes. I don't think I'll take the medication if it takes away my abilities.

@Lostpoet I'm working on it hard. I went to the gym faithfully, three or four days a week for three hours & was in really good shape but my work changed so therefore my gym regime did as well & now I'm not able to go like I used to but I do have a treadmill at home, which is better than nothing.

@Tumbleweed The Planet fitness I went to one time didn't have any bench presses or squat racks.
