what can i do here

the situation is; i have a social worker because i have mental health problems with severe anxiety, related to ptsd and paranoia at times, i've stayed indoors in my apartment for a long time now and got used to it...i don't really want to go out anymore, i've been doing my grocery shopping online....but i've agreed for the help from my social worker to get me a carer to start taking me out of my apartment, twice a week for a couple of hours.....this is my care plan.

so i can't really back out of it or they could withdraw the support, but i don't really want to leave my apartment now, ever...as i feel very anxious at the thought and prefer to stay indoors where i feel safe and i can enjoy my own space and 'peace'.

so soon as my social worker gets me this carer, i'm going to have to make the effort to go out regularly with them and i'm not really looking forward to it.......i've lived as a shut in for many years, isolated myself and as lonely as i feel at times, i like it , i'm used to it, it's familiar to me to stay indoors.....and i don't want to leave my comfort zone.

anyone understand?

You must try because being indoors all the time is constantly making your life worse.
If you could get out into nature for a while, not into built up areas with cars, buses and crowds of people.
If you do get taken out then try to make it on your terms. Even a trip to the seaside if you live near it would do you the world of good. The fresh air is definitely what your mind and body need.
