Mental Health Awareness Day.

I meant to post this on Mental Health Awareness Day, but I was really sick and just couldn’t. Even though it’s a day late, I still want to share because this matters so deeply to me.

I love someone who lives with a mental health disorder, and I also wrestle with my own struggles. I know how isolating it can feel — like you’re trapped inside your mind, unsure if anyone else truly understands. But here’s what I want to say, from my heart:

You are not alone.
There are people willing to listen (really listen), to be there in the darkness with you.
There are resources, supports, and communities that exist because someone believed it mattered to reach out, to care, to share.
If you ever want a friend — someone to talk to, vent to, cry with, or even just sit in silence with — I’m here.

Mental health doesn’t always wait for a “good time.” But we can try to open doors for each other. Even when it’s uncomfortable. Even when we feel like we have nothing left.

If you’re reading this and feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just in need of someone to talk with — please reach out. You don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here. 💛

💛 Some Key Reminders
• Your feelings are valid. Your pain is real.
• You don’t have to “do it all” on your own.
• Asking for help can be one of the bravest things you do.
• Healing isn’t linear — there may be setbacks, dark days, and frustrations. That’s okay.
• Sometimes, the greatest gift to yourself is to reach out — and let someone in.
