I too do this mostly with siblings , but yeah comparing yourself to others definitely makes you feel worse about yourself. If you find a way to stop let me know 😂

@Carebear412 If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your own career, however humble;

My friend when you comparing is to compete .
I'm gonna give you a tip .
Total acceptance of oneself is the price to freedom ( in other words , don't answer your thoughts cause when compare and turn it all in inwards on yourself , your left with an emotion called self pity .
It's seems to be my favorite subject " Self pity "
I was never a jealous person or never wanted what people had but in low times that thinking can come in .
I call it a lower power cause when you feed into those thoughts your living in an illusion and an illusion is telling you something that's making you unhappy .
Break that part and eventually in time you get " acceptance cause then you can see when those come back in again
I’m trying to heal myself as well .

difficult when there’s a constant comparison

Remember, people usually show only their best and most successful side. When you compare yourself to them, you’re missing the hidden struggles and scars they carry.....parts even they try to avoid.

Just be fair to yourself
