Unstable mental health.

My mental health is extremely unstable.
I have a mental health helper at work but as i have had a falling out with in the past I now feel very uncomfortable sharing my feelings with.
I know that I should try other mental health groups online but I am unsure where most of my issues start.
Most of the time I am upbeat and positive with my outlook on life but when I start to look at the reality of my situation I feel rather depressed and stressed out. I am unsure if I need to go onto medication or just stop over thinking situations.

Medication definitely helps me, but it has taken a long time to find the right meds. Therapy also helps but it is incredibly hard and painful, I’ve tried every type of therapy there is, this current one is the only one I’ve had success with. I don’t think talking to friends or family helps, for me it just adds a layer of guilt and burden.

I found the worst thing to do was talk to family. They were the most judgmental. I've had better friends at times than family. I didn't have the feeling of guilt or burden though. Everyone is different I guess.

Fortunately, I've worked thru it and had meds to help. It's in the past and life is better.

Never feel bad about trying to make yourself better. When you do find someone new just sit down and be honest about your needs and go from there. You will hopefully be able to figure it out and work on a plan together and if you need extra help like medication don't feel bad about it.

A good therapist or therapy group leader will guide you through, you don't need to know where your issues start. 💙 It helps to have someone else navigate a bit.
