Anyone here suffering from anxiety: did meds help you?
I am actually afraid to take anti anxiety medication and suffer after from side effects.
I would be happy to see some experiences before I take a decision.

So many misnomers around this type of medication. Chances are you’ll suffer few if any side effects. Liability-wise, drug companies have to list every possible side effect under the sun.

Now of course your decision of whether or not to take them should be made in consultation with your physician. Who, if they’re a responsible physician and you do decide to take them, will monitor you very closely and prescribe in limited doses to minimize chances of addiction.

Bottom line, whatever you decide, is that your condition can be managed and there’s no need to suffer.
