How far would you go when trying to help someone when the helping turns out toxic

@OlderSometimesWiser There's no way forward cause the person don't want to help themselves .
So how can I help a person that don't want to help themselves. It's actually draining and that's nothing bad said about the person .
I also got a realization (I know some people helped me but I put myself out there for it) but the realisation I got was I don't see people running and racing after me helping me unless I put myself out there .
All my life I was helping people but now are my realising was it self seeking to be liked .
That's the wrong motive ( nothing bad now) but you'd have fake friends and they'd keep on taken if your a giver and at the end of the day it will you one way or another cause you either feel used or else settling for second best .
So there's that part of it .

I'm not coming back at you now ( but what's actually help) .
It's a higher power that do that for you and with anyone else. All you can do is guide them in what you did and you have to watch out with that cause some people have different religious beliefs and if they don't like that they could attack you
