Just needed to write this somewhere

I don’t understand how people just keep living, keep going, keep doing the same old things, the world is so hopeless and sad and I feel like the grief and rage of it all is eating me alive.

But then... I remember the power of words, of stories, to connect us, to remind us of our shared humanity. The stories we tell, the words we write... though they can't possibly fully capture the depth of despair that's engulfing our world, they have the power to ignite change, to spark empathy, to inspire action. In the darkest of times, it's the stories of resilience, of compassion, of love that sustain us, that give us hope for a better tomorrow.

These thoughts have been weighing heavily on my mind lately, and I felt compelled to share them.

As I was told growing up it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Sometimes we have to just up and be the change we want to see even if only on a small scale.

@PinkRose23 You're right. We can't let despair win. We have to hold onto hope.

@SwiftieShutterbug Amen to that!
