safe to take antipsychotics if you need them

i have took aripripazole or ablify 15mg for years now for severe paranoia that i have, i don't want to take it, but it does help, i was prescribed it from a psychiatrist about 7 years ago.

but i just want reassurance that i will be alright, that it won't do me any physical harm taking it long term into the future?

does anyone else take an antipsychotic? will i be ok?

I have a relative who is on anti depressants. From what they tell me, they don't always work, and they've recently been prescribed a different medication.

I take anti seizure medication and have been taking it since I was 23. My neurologist had told me about long term effects from taking this medicine, but I can't afford to be out of work from trying new medications.

I think there are some medicines out there that have side effects from taking it long term.

They are more beneficial for you than not having them. The temptation among those taking antipsychotics is incredibly strong not to take them. Physically, if you're not having trouble now, you shouldn't later. But do make sure all your levels are checked at least once a year if not more frequently.

You have been taking it for a long time now, it wont harm you. Long term use of antipsychotics cant harm you in anyway, some have side effects but not severe. Ive been on respiredone for 6 years now and im ok. You will be ok.

You have been taking it for the past 7 years and it has been okay all that time right?
