đŸ–€World Mental Health dayđŸ–€

Today shouldn't just be about those with an illness, but more the ignorant, clueless minds who simply don't get it. Those are the ones with the real problem. Remember its okay to not be okay, Men cry too and you do matter.

I don’t subscribe to or support the idea of ‘mental health’ or psychiatry, it’s only been around for one or two centuries and before that all these illnesses were understood as spiritual illnesses. In my culture when you start having psychosis it’s called intwaso which means spiritual emergence, you are coming into relationship with the otherworld, what’s it’s called with modern psychiatry oh you see spirits, hear them, your brain is defunct and your schizophrenic. Everything to them is just a series of brain errors when it’s far more meaningful and complex. I don’t support ‘world’ mental health day in any way, the majority of the traditional world don’t subscribe to or use psychiatry either, and do you know non western countries have higher recovery rates because they don’t use psychiatry, look it up.
