Surprisingly i took my dads advice and saw his doctor cause he suffers from the same thing

DID is exceedingly rare (1% of the global population), contested, not shown to be genetic at all and specifically tied to trauma. Does this describe you?

@scabs Hopefully you're finding the therapy helpful. There's great progress being made on several fronts now, so it's not the specter the 70's would have had us believe.
