Councellors are supposed to help, so why do I find it so hard to talk to mine?

Because you haven’t established trust with them yet. You aren’t obligated to trust them just because that’s their profession.

@Manfredthemanic You don’t. That’s your counselor’s job to do. If they can’t do that, then it’s better to switch to a different one.
