But I’m still under a lot of emotional stress right now. It’s like in some ways my mental health is getting better, and in others, it’s not. Either that or I’ve just figured out how to suppress my problems

I know that feeling, though I'm not totally sure how to help other than to suggest keep finding healthy ways to vent, including verbally talking out loud, even if it's just to yourself, the mirror or a pet, science suggest that helps.
