Has anybody ever used CBD gummies for anxiety?

If so - did it help? How much CBD did you take, and over what period of time?

In one systematic review of a sample of studies, this is what they found:

Results
Eight articles were included in the review: 6 small, randomized controlled trials; 1 case series; and 1 case report. These studies examined the role of CBD in the anxiety response of healthy volunteers; in generalized anxiety disorder; in social anxiety disorder; and in the anxiety component of posttraumatic stress syndrome. No articles that evaluated CBD in panic disorder, specific phobia, separation anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder were identified. In the studies, CBD was administered orally as a capsule or as a sublingual spray and as either monotherapy or adjunctive therapy. Doses varied widely, with studies employing fixed CBD doses ranging from 6 mg to 400 mg per dose. Various anxiety assessment scales were used in the studies to assess efficacy, with CBD demonstrating improved clinical outcomes among the instruments. In general, CBD was well-tolerated and associated with minimal adverse effects, with the most commonly noted adverse effects being fatigue and sedation.[/quote]

Fact is, there isn't enough research to determine whether CBD exceeds what would be expected through the placebo effect. However, there's reason to believe further research may uncover CBD and cannabinoids provide an alternate therapy to certain mental conditions lie anxiety.

Apart from this is the fact there is no standardization or regulation of CBD products, so its impossible to know what you're ingesting or how much, Additionally, not all methods of introduction of a substance to a system are created equal. We don't know that gummies and edibles replicate standardized, observed lab results. It won't hurt you, but how much it'll help remains to be seen.

Yeah I've had the gummies before. I had like a big jar I bought from a website I can't remember the name of the website but the whole jar contained 3000mg of CBD so I just took however many I felt I needed which was usually 2 or 3 gummies and it worked pretty good. But now I actually have my medical card so I just go to the dispensary and buy a weed syringe 60%cbd and 15% thc and it contains 1000mg total I usually take one drop under my tongue and I'm good for the next several hours. Nothing like actually getting stuff from the dispensary though it's really strong and potent.
