It's sad...in those days of air travel we lost quite a few souls that would have made the world a better place had they lived...Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens (who died in the same crash), Jim Croce...a truly great pity 😥

The Crickets had only released their second album before he passed, so never got to see the fruits of his labor flourish through the 50s and onward :(
