Is using memes going to become apart of communications in the near future for those who don't know how to express themselves with words?

I think it's cool. But how are people going to use memes in the real world? Are they going to hold up a sign?

Not for most thoughtful people.

They are soundbites with a graphic, so even more likely to add nothing to real discussion.
