Memes are like bumper stickers. One or two here or there isn't so bad, but when it dominates your interactions, it's really tacky

Memes are basically the fast-food equivalent of mental stimulation. Sure, it may satisfy some of our basest instincts and make us feel good in the short term, but an overdependence on it in order to communicate really says a lot about what you have rattling around upstairs.

It's also a large reason why politics have become such a heaping pile of toxic waste since the advent of Facebook
