If you do it in public they will do what is legal and be difficult. If you are away from the public eye you will get a shakedown.

This was in 1976 at a Blue Oyster concert. They didn’t care if people smoked their pot when the lights were off. I did it when the lights were on.
They didn’t do anything at the time but when the concert ended they knew my pipe was in my pocket so they shook me quickly down and took the pipe!
